Residents of Soroti today blocked Police from arresting Soroti City Woman MP Joan Alobo Acom who had stage a demonstration against the belated Soroti City Women’s day.
On April 14, 2023, police blocked MP Alobo from holding the celebrations over non clearance.
The event was later on rescheduled by Soroti city to May 26, 2026
