Unknown thugs on April 5, 2023 broke into the offices of Teso war victims and cattle rustling claimants Association made away with several documents and other valuables, police have said
The police at Soroti CPS have registered vide CRB 80/2023 a case of theft and office breaking that occurred at around 01:00 AM on the 5/4/2023 in the night.
According to SP Ageca Oscar Gregg the PRO East Kyoga Police, preliminary findings into the matter indicate that on the night above, the neighbors that reside within the environs of Teso war victims and cattle rustling claimants Association offices heard noise outside at around 01:00AM.
The neighbors, further alleged to have heard thieves breaking into the Offices but in fear of their lives never came out since the thieves first knocked at their door and had no air time to make phone calls.
“So at around 06:00am during morning time is when they came outside and realized that the security bulb, bicycle, television flat screen were stolen and the restaurant pad lock broken and thieves accessed inside after checking,” Agecca said.
Upon notification, Hon Ochen Julius former MP Kapelebyong and Chairman of the Association confirmed that the Office premises had been broken into.
He noted that the thieves took, two desktops, two cups, 2 printers, sports bike, 32″ Hisense screen and two bags of documents
