Police in East Kyoga have detained Moses Iteit, the LC3 Ngariam Sub County and five other residents of Olupe town board, Ngariam sub county Katakwi district for allegedly burning four homesteads.
The other suspects have been identified by police as; George Egau, Joseph Otim, Titus Tomore, Simon Peter Oranit and Patrick Okure.
The Regional Police Commander RPC for East Kyoga, Moses Mwanga Kitiyo says that the case was opened under CRB Ref 15/19/2022 of Katakwi CPS before it was transferred to the region.
The suspects are being charged on five counts of arson, malicious damage, robbery, gravitate harm and criminal trespass.
But, Iteit prior to his arrest had told the media that people were disappearing in his area.
