Ululations and tears of joy flowed as thousands of Christians braved the scorching sun to witness the consecration of Bishop Dominic Eibu as third Bishop of Kotido Catholic Diocese.
Rev. Eibu was appointed by Pope Francis in October 25, 2022 to replace Bishop Giuseppe Filippi who after serving since 2009, resigned upon reaching the canonical age limit.
Rev. Eibu, 52, is a born of Amotot Village, Apapao Sub-county, Kalaki District under Soroti Catholic Diocese.
