The Authorities in Kumi District have said that the district is currently struggling to fund new administrative units recently created in the district.
Among the new administrative units currently hit by limited financing include Tisai Sub County curbed from Ongino Sub County.
Close to ten new administrative units were created in Kumi before the 2021 election period.
Rose Mary Adong, the Chief Administrative Officer Kumi during the district budget conference meeting held at the District headquarters last week said that the district is currently faced with budget constraints.
She said Tisai Sub County just like any other new administrative unit in the district is faced with financial constraints saying that the district has limited funds to support due to continuous budget cuts.
Samuel Akol, the Vice Chairperson LCV Kumi called on the central government to intervene into the current state of affairs.
Tisai Sub County has a population of 7196 people with six Parishes.
